As I sit here starting this blog, baby K is moving like crazy. I love watching my belly move in the craziest ways and it makes me giggle. It never fails whenever one of my children want to sit on my lap (which they are limited on room) the baby instantly kicks in their direction. Of course this occurs with Laiken the most and his face is priceless each and every time. It is a great bonding experience and I continue to tell him that the baby doesn't like to share Mommy, he just grins like that isn't going to happen. I often times look at Laiken and wonder how in the world I am going to share that bond with with another boy, but I am told by several it is possible. I must say my feelings on what this baby is have shifted slightly due to an old wives tale and comparing belly pictures from my two previous pregnancies. I received a text from a friend on Friday that told me to check out the Chinese Gender Chart to see what it predicts, she claimed that she has not heard of it being incorrect yet. So being the curious one I decided to give it a shot. I did not get the results I was expecting and it said, "It's a girl" which of course made me smile a bit and increase my percentage to about 8% from my previous 5%. I know whoever reads this is going to laugh for me even giving it any thought, but don't worry I did not take it to heart too much considering it only decreased my boy prediction by 3%. In that percentage increase I compared my 28 week picture with my previous two, of course I am bigger this time around, but am caring like I did with Addysen rather than Laiken. Does that truly mean anything...no, but it is sure fun to think so!
I decided to capture some pictures of kiddos today and a few belly shots before church. Wow does my belly look HUGE in the picture of me by myself. I should look slightly huge considering I only have 12 weeks or less left.
This week is going to be a busy one. Kris starts his vacation tomorrow and we leave to go on the Kobza family vacation on Thursday. I have shopping to accomplish, some laundry to do before packing, work on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, and then on the road!!!
Here is to another crazy week...Kobza style!
One Step at a Time,
Alisha
